This all started with a spark.
Hey there, I’m Callan Blount Fleming, and I love working with individuals and companies that are eager to ignite the sparks within that lead to thriving careers and insanely successful organizations.
My experience as a public school teacher, private investment portfolio analyst, and chief fundraiser for leading organizations with multi-million dollar budgets have prepared me to coach and train leaders.
I’m also deeply passionate about creating the best conditions for working parents and coaching working parent professionals through their unique experiences. Becoming a mom while building Spark Collective has afforded me a view into a range of other companies and organizations, thus gifting me a unique perspective on what it takes to build an inclusive culture that fuels performance and profitability.
My work help professionals build careers they love and companies increase retention, grow their profit, and steward their brand and reputation.
This work is critical because we’re seeing a disturbing pattern:
Far too many accomplished, ambitious parents- mothers in particular- are leaving jobs they love because their managers and organizations aren’t creating the best conditions for them.
I’m an ICF certified coach, speaker, and facilitator with more than a decade of experience in developing leaders and executives, organizational design, equity and inclusion, and leading women-centric communities and initiatives.
Through our work, my team and I have coached or facilitated learning for more than 1,000 individuals and many innovative organizations, including Hungryroot, GoodRx, Brooklyn Public Library, International Day of Purpose, Chief, and Tide Risers. I’ve also coached leaders at Wharton Business School, Teach for America, Discovery Inc., Twitter, Vice Media.
Thanks to our transformative work, I’ve had the pleasure of being featured in Working Mother Magazine and Thrive Global. I’m also a featured speaker at a variety of events, including SXSW, NationSwell Council events, the Tide Risers Global Summit, and the New York Women’s Leadership Summit.
